STRATEGI GURU BAHASA ARAB DALAM MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS ARAB SISWA KELAS VII MADRASAH TSANAWIYAH (MTs) AL-HIDAYAH PEMATANG TINGGI KECAMATAN KERUMUTAN KABUPATEN PELALAWAN

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems that arise during writing lessons in class, particularly in writing Arabic. Many students still are not fluent in Arabic writing. The students' perception that Arabic is difficult also results in a low interest in learning Arabic. Therefore, a teacher must understand the characteristics of the students before applying the learning strategies used.

This research was conducted at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Al-Hidayah Kerumutan aimed at understanding the strategies of Arabic teachers in improving the writing skills of seventh-grade students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Al-Hidayah Pematang Tinggi in Kerumutan District, Pelalawan Regency.

This type of research is qualitative research. The subjects of this study are Arabic language teachers and seventh-grade students at MTs Al-Hidayah Kerumutan. The data collection techniques used are: observation, interviews, and documentation.

The research results indicate that with the writing skills method, seventh-grade students have performed very well. This is achieved by the teacher following the predetermined steps. The results show that out of the 10 (ten) aspects that were investigated, the percentage of answers 'YES' is 90%, while the percentage of answers 'NO' is 10%. The results obtained are interpreted in a qualitative form. Since the 90% result is in the qualification range of (80%-100%), the qualitative assessment is 'VERY GOOD'.
